Review by hotel critic
I had the pleasure of staying at the Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh's Old Town, known as the gateway between the old and new town. the hotel is a true gem, with its mix of New England seaside decor and traditional Scottish charm. the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering me a wee nip of Whisky upon arrival and providing me with personally chosen reading recommendations. My room was spacious and comfortable, with stunning views of the city and luxury Egyptian cotton linen. the hotel's Grand Café was a lovely spot for a relaxing drink and the kitchen team's seasonal menu showcased the best produce Scotland has to offer. the hotel's location, nestled between the Old and New Towns, was perfect for exploring all that Edinburgh has to offer. Overall, the Scotsman Hotel provided me with a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of this historic city.
